Possessive Pronouns

Adûnaic has no pronouns solely dedicated to the possessive case.  There are two methods around this issue.  First and main option, prefixing an- (“of, genitival prefix”) to the appropriate pronoun and place the resulting compound after the noun modified/possessed.  Second option is to place the appropriate pronoun before the modified/possessed noun[1].

Examples (1st option):

Zagar ahhû  (“sword of his, his sword”), example of possessive, with the normal pronoun (h)u (“he”) added to an- to modify zagar (“sword”).

Thâni annê (“Our realm, realm of ours”), added to an- to modify thâni (“realm”).

Examples (2nd option):

Hê zadan (“her house”).

Yâ Yôzâyan (“Our Land of Gift”).

Notes

[1].  This second method should only be used if the subject is clear, otherwise always use the first option.
