a root suffix that adds a "causative" meaning to the root. When to be used, a biconsonantal root must be in full form (CVCV), while a triconsonantal root must be either syncoped (CVCCV) or super-extended (CVCVCV).
(Do note the latter approach for triconsonantal roots is a work in progress and not to be used unless absolutely necessary).
