Plural Subjective


The Plural Subjective is used to indicate the subject of a sentence when it is plural.  When dealing with a sentence clause, the last word gets the suffix.

It can also be used to represent a “to be” statement when placed on the noun preceding the object of the verb.

 

When used to indicate a subject:

Narduwîm azaggara urkhîyada.

“The soldiers waged war against the orcs.”

 

Kalîm nakham zadanad.

“The women came to the house.”

 

Indicating a “to be” statement:

Narduwîm kathuphazgânî.

“The soldiers are conquerors.”

 

 

Plural Subjective inflections.

 

Strong-I[1]

Neuter: add -îya.

Common/Feminine/Masculine: add -im.

[1].  If Syncope can be applied, use it (e.g. nithil > nithlim).

 

Strong-II

Neuter: add -îya.

Common/Feminine/Masculine: add -im.

 

Weak-I:

Neuter: add -îya.

Common/Feminine/Masculine: add -im.

  

Weak-II

Neuter: add [y/w] + -îya.

Common/Feminine/Masculine: add [y/w] + -im.
