*phêl n. (Weak-I Feminine) “daughter”
Several Tolkien scholars had distilled the noun from the name zimraphel, but as noted by Paul Strack among others, -phel violates what we do know of original Adûnaic grammar (an -e- is always supposed to be long). For the purposes of the lexicon I am correcting it to phêl and assuming that the lack of a circumflex in the name was due to special circumstances.
