*sâibêth n. (Weak-I Neuter) “assent”
It contains the word bêth, but the word formation is obscure beyond that. It appears that it may be an objective inflection of sâ, however, using -i to represent the objective inflection is normally relegated to Feminine nouns (perhaps because bêth has a feminine overtone in Númenórean culture? It would explain why Inzilbêth, “expression of the Lily,” is considered feminine beyond the repetition of feminine-associated vowels).
